Is there a way...(School project)

I posted this over on the CB, but someone suggested to come here. Can anyone help?

A friend of mine is doing a project in her computer class on PoTC. She came today and actually asked if I could come on the DIS (she usually just rolls her eyes when I talk about it, but I think she's finally coming to terms with my Disney addiction. LOL.) and ask you guys this. She wants to know if there is a way to get the number of people that rode PoTC each year. She doesn't want every year, maybe just the year it opened, last year, and maybe one in the middle.

Maybe your friend could email guest communications and explain what her project is and maybe they'll help her.

Thanks. I told her she could do that, but she wanted me to come here first and see if anyone knew of a website or anything. She probably wanted some other info too. LOL. So sneaky!

She might ask Lou Mongello over on http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/. The POTC page, http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/trivia/mk/adventureland/pirates.php, doesn't have ride volumes but it does have lots of other details.

Tell her to go to her library (I'm assuming she's university level? I don't think high school libraries are expansive enough to have this particular periodical) and do a search for Amusement Business Magazine. Within that, she could do a search for ridership on POTC. All figures are estimates however because Disney doesn't release attendance figures. So, who knows if she'll be able to track down that info.
