Is there a way out?....

We have ADR for Crystal Palace at 7:45pm......I am trying to moved it up a little but have not had any luck so far. If we are leaving around HEA time, is there a path out? This will be on an evening EMH night so, high crowd level.

You can walk through gift shops on Main Street for at least part of the time. And the CMs try to keep pathways clear.

Yes, you should be able to get to Casey's, and use the entrance from Casey's to get to the shops.

Getting out DURING HEA shouldn't be awful. It will be crowded, but you should be able to get to Casey's, and then through the gift shops without too much problem. Getting out AFTER HEA . . . good luck lol.

Over Spring Break, they opened a backstage pathway leading from the courtyard between Casey's and Crystal Palace and bringing you out next to the Fire Station. Although exiting through Casey's/Emporium is a viable option, look for this path, as it's more direct and everyone is moving the same direction on it.

I think it would be worse leaving when HEA ends. We love walking through the shops anyway. Enjoy.

Interesting--I knew they had a backstage pathway they could open on the other side; didn't realize they'd set one up on the side with Casey's as well. That's really good; I remember when Main Street was the only way out after the fireworks, and good lord, the mob of people....

you could try pointing over to the frontierland rail station and ride the train to the front. It'll be a longer walk but you will avoid crowds

We got caught leaving BOG last year during HEA on it's 2nd day. We asked 2 CMs how to get out and they said we couldn't, we would have to wait til it was over. We kept trying & finally found the path to Casey's to go through the stores. But, I didn't see a pathway coming out of Crystal Palace....(but, I really wasn't paying attention) And I hate walking in front of people during the show. I just remember a crowd of people in that area and the CMs were directing us through as fast as possible.

Unless something has changed this side of Main Street is unthemed and not commonly used unlike the other bypass that they specifically constructed to hide backstage areas. We were at MK once in late 2014 when they were using this bypass after MSEP and it was a mad house. It looks like kind of like a parking lot back there. You see the backsides of the mainstreet buildings along with vehicles parked backstage.
Since then we haven’t seen it open on our trips. My guess is that it is reserved for extremely busy times
