Is there a walking path from AKL to AK?

Just wondering if we would be able to walk to AK when we stay at AKL in September.

Thanks!

The previous poster is correct. I am sure there is a reason why such a walking path was not built, but (IMHO) it certainly should have been. It seems that Disney could have located and built AKL in a way that would have allowed guests to walk to AKL, but for whatever reason they did not.

I could not agree more. For this reason, I am dumbfounded that WDW actually classifies AKL as a deluxe resort. :confused3 To me, a deluxe resort must offer some form of non-bus, direct transportation to at least one park. All the other deluxes offer this in one way or another.

At least cut some kind of path to allow go-cart driven AKL guests to go to and from AKL the way a CR guest could walk to MK.

For roughly the same price as the AKL, we stay in WL and get boats to MK. To us, that is such a large value for the same price it's not even worth considering AKL. For us, the convenience of easy park transportation is worth more than a potential savannah view.

Hmmm here's a thought - AKL could have a safari ride that starts at the resort & ends in AK....ok I'm dreaming!

Yep, Pat's right. It's called the Sunrise Breakfast Safari. You have to stay concierge at AKL to do it. It's $55 per adult, I'm not sure how much for kids.

Oh I know all about that, I meant a general mode of transportation for all resort guests as an alternative to a bus. Like OP stated, the other deluxes have the monorail, boats, etc.

As long as I was on the dreaming path....wouldn't it be nice for AK to have a nice TS restaraunt overlooking the safari?

Or you could ride on the back of an elephant, that would be a really special way of transporting the guests :goodvibes
