I read this on another post. Someone thought that it looked like there was a cable hookup for a tv. Anyone have any info on this? If so, I would bring a small tv for the kids. Thanks.

for a while "disney" cost cut :sad2: and took TVS out of the bedroom of the cabins.
Last two recent visits in the past 6months, new TVs were back. One in living room and back in the bedroom. Guess enough peeps including myself complained about the cheap stunt.

2nd TV was back in the bedroom when we were there in December. It's nice to have when you don't want to watch what the kids are watching.

Can't really imagine disney having to cost cut little tv's. LOL. By the way love your screen name!!! Going to see them in april and cant wait!!

My kids LOVED watching the bedtime stories with the lights off at night.. a great ending to the day!

What are the bedtime stories? I have never stayed there before or anywhere in disney for that matter. I didnt know anything about this.

Kerry,

There are bedtime stories on Channel 14(?) starting around 7pm. Each one is about 20 minutes long. They include Monsters,Inc.; Tarzan; Little Mermaid; Toystory. It's like having the Disney books on tape and they show the picture on-screen.

It is a really nice way to end the day - especially now that the TV is back in the bedroom!

Kerry: if you read this again, we went to see Duran's "Astronaut" tour in Tampa on Saturday and it totally rocked!!! :cool1: I wanna go again! Have fun!

A cast member we know, did tell us cost cutting is WHY the management did it. Since we stay in the cabins alot for long weekends and get those survey cards, I can tell you thats one thing I mentioned EVERY time! LOL

I am very excited and glad to hear the show was great. My show isn't until the first week of April!! I can't wait!! :cool1: :cool1:

I'm glad to hear there is a tv in the bedroom! :cool1: At home, the kids can spend an hour at bedtime with their tvs on. Normally, they are all asleep before it goes off..... :sunny:

I pretty sure to you can still rent disney videos at the Meadows Outpost (campground store) too if you want a specific movie.
