Is there a TRex at Downtown Disney?

I see something about Pleasure Island but forgive my ignorance for not understanding what that means. Do you have to pay to go to Pleasure Island or is that just part of DD?

Also, I thought I remember reading that you can call ahead for seating at TRex, anyone know if that is true?

Yes T-Rex is part of DTD and you can call 6 months in advance for reservations. I called Saturday to make one for lunch on January 1st. I don't have the number here with me but I found it on their website.

Pleasure Island no longer charges for admission especially now that all the clubs have closed. But T-Rex is more towards the DTD side anyhow.

Pleasure Island is now just a section of Downtown Disney...between Westside and the Marketplace. They no longer have nightclubs there and no admission is charged. I don't know if they're even still calling it Pleasure Island at all.

T-Rex is right on the border of the Pleasure Island and Marketplace sections of Downtown Disney, right next to Fulton's Crab House. Definitely call them directly for seating (407-828-8739). They only release a small number of tables to the Disney Dining line and it can be next to impossible to get a table that way. They usually have plenty of availability if you call them directly.

One thing to keep in mind about T-Rex is that the portions are HUGE. We usually get two entrees for the four of us (me, DH and our 2 teenagers) and it's plenty of food. Enjoy!

The food at T-Rex was pretty good. However, you can tell the place isn't run by Disney, it's an absolute madhouse in the front.
