Is there a thread with a step by step for Orbitz booking?

I have never booked a vacation of any kind with Orbitz, Travelocity, etc., is there a thread that gives a step by step how to get notices of Disney room discounts, where to find them on their site, how to apply extra discounts? Can you still use ME and make FP+ at 60 days out and dining at 180+. How do you link an Orbitz ressie to DME band? I know you can't get dining, but will it affect room location or possibility of an upgrade at WL?

I just look up Disney resorts to see the discounts.

Yup.

How do you link an Orbitz ressie to DME band?

You don't link it to your Magic Band, you link it to your My Disney Experience account. You will need your Disney Confirmation number from Orbitz and then enter it in your MDE account online.

Actually I justed booked with orbitz (my 3rd or 4th time) and was immediately able to use the orbitz confirmation code to link my reservation to my MDE. You do not need Disneys confirmaion number. That was the same last year as well.

IMPORTANT: the reservation will be under orbitz address, therefore you need to change it twice.

1. To customize your MB's, change the address .

2. When doing online checkin at 60 days, once again the address is wrong and needs to be changed.
