Is There A Shuttle From Sanford?

A friend from work is flying into Sanford instead of Orlando International. He doesn't drive and wondered if there was a bus which would take him into Kissimmee.

I couldn't answer him this as we have always picked up a car. Can any of you guys help with this query?

Yes, we fly into Sanford all the time. We use a town car, but it is my understanding you can arrange to be picked up by Mears shuttle, but you do have to make arrangements ahead of time. You can also take a cab, but when I emailed various companies for quotes, the town cars were cheaper than the cabs.

You do pay more than from Orlando international of course, but Sanford will always be my preferred airport. It is small and very manageable. You land, you go a short distance downstairs and get your luggage, and within 30 minutes you are on the highway. It just eliminates so much of the stress attched to travel. Worth the extra money to me.
