Is there a shuttle/bus to the beach from DL?

My fiance and I leave tomorrow for our first trip to DLR. I feel like we are missing the boat by not at least stopping by the beach. I have looked into one of those tours from greyline, etc. but we dont want to devote that much time. Is there an easy way to get to and from the beach for just a couple hours, without paying $100 for a cab? We arent looking to spend long there, just enough time to take a walk and put our feet in the ocean....

Since you're DVC members I'll presume you're staying on property, but I'd suggest just renting a car from Alamo at DTD for the day to get to the beach & any other sights you might want to catch. It shouldn't cost more than $30-35 for the day & what you do & when is entirely up to you.

The walk at the beach would be nice & the sunset would be great to catch, but as for sticking your feet in the water, the water's pretty cold this time of year even during the day.
