Is there a playground at Beach Club?

We are going in January; and in case it's too chilly for the pool, I'm hoping there is a playground for our soon to be four year old to play on. Dh and I are running the 1/2 and need somewhere to keep DS's attention in case our legs are too jellified to do the park the day of the run - thanks!

I cannot recall any playground area at BC. There is a small one over at the Boardwalk next to the feature pool.

On this map, it looks like there's one at the Yacht Club end of Stormalong Bay pool. I think that's where the kids' play area of the pool is, too.

I haven't found a photo yet, though. We haven't been, but will be at BC in a couple weeks. Your post got me wondering if they had one, too.

IIRC - there is a sand aread where it used to be but it hasn't been there for some time. I'll be able to tell you for sure in 40 days.

I will be the official bearer of the bad news. There is no longer a playground at the Beach Club- not sure when the area was changed, but this is what it looks like now:

I found this photo of what I think is the play area at BW. Looks like it's beside the kiddie pool.

Last time we were at the boardwalk there is a playground. Op how old is your child? How about staying at the shallow sand area of the pool.

he will be a month shy of four when we go. I can't believe a deluxe resort doesn't have a playground when mods and values do. And I must admit that BWI one looks just sad.

I probably will let him play in the sand, but trying to keep him out of the water if its cold is going to be a loser for me - oh well, if he wants to be chilly . . . .
