Is there a picnic area?

We're traveling to WDW in 17 days!!!!! We frequent DL quite a bit, so we know it quite well, but we haven't been to WDW in almost 8 years. So my memory is a little fuzzy.

I would like to save some $$ on food, so I planned on bringing lunches a few days.

DL has a very nice picnic area with lockers to store your small cooler, etc. Just outside the gates.

Do any of the WDW parks have this?

Or can you bring some brown bagged lunches into the park?

No picnic areas but you will have no problem bringing some food items into the park. Rules say no but never heard anyone that had any problems with bringing food in. If you are driving, you can also return to your car for a mid day picnic. There are picnic tables at FW if you wanted to go to the trouble of going over there!!

We always stuffed quite a bit of food in the diaper bag. Security would see it during the bag search but never said anything about it.

Another important tip would be to bring some water containers. You can refill them at the water fountains. It's important to keep everyone hydrated and it's nice not to have to buy drinks.
