I've searched and searched and can find nothing talking about the number of dogs you can take to FW. Now either there is no limited, or my search skills are lousy.

Is there a limit?

Last Thanksgiving we had 2 dogs... nobody said a word. This Thanksgiving there might be 3. We're gaining a dog but will be down one human (son will be in bootcamp).:)

So, does anyone know... is there any kind of limit?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the camping board!

I've never heard of a limit. I have a friend that has 4 pups.

I would guess....and it is only a guess! As long as they are well behaved and not disruptive there would be no problem.

Thanks for the quick responses and the welcome to the board.

Yes I am brand new to this board but believe I'll make good use of it, and hopefully be able to become a valued contibutor in the future.

Our trip this year is still over 5 months away and I'm as giddy as a little kid at Christmas.

We have seen dog show people with at least 10 dogs. Most of them are very well controlled and you wouldn't mind them right next door.... others however!!!!

We went one year with four mini dachshunds and no one said anything. They loved their trip to the Fort! :)

I had a person next to me in the past that had 5 goldens very well behaved and the biggest problem was the group of people that were camping by us not the dogs

this is totally not related to your question... sorry. but where is your son going to basic? Ours graduated from Fort Jackson and then Fort Sill about 4mos ago and is now in Korea. I thank your son for his service.

My son is going into the Navy. Basic Training is at the Great Lakes Naval Station, North Chicago, IL. He is entering through the DEP(Delayed Entry Program), so he won't actually start basic until Novemeber 7th. I'm told that due to a slow down in recruitment, that everyone must go through DEP to get in. I think this gives the Navy a good long time to determine if they really want you or not, but that's just my guess.

I will be sure to pass along your appreciation for his service. He is extremely excited about starting his Naval career, and serving our great nation!
