Is there a Main Street Trolly?

I was just listening to my "Where The Magic Lives" CD we bought on our last trip. The Welcome Medely mentions the Main Street Trolly. Having been to WDW a few times now, I have never seen the Main Street Trolly. We normally don't spend a lot of time around Mainstreet, so I can't say for sure if it even exists--or ever has. Is there a Main Street Trolley? If there is, when does it come out?

If there isn't one, do they use the tracks for anything (parade equipment, etc)? If nothing is using the tracks why don't they get rid of the them? Anyone who has walked on Mainstreet has to watch out for those things--especially the stroller people. Those things are a ankle twister (and vacation ruiner) if there ever was one.

Hi! To answer your question, there are street entertainers that ride down Main Street USA in a Trolley and stop periodically to perform. One of the songs and dances they do is The Trolley Song.

There are Main Street Vehicles, which include the horseless carriages, trolleys pulled by horses, and sometimes even a fire truck. If one stops and there is no line, hop on. They are lots of fun!

The Main Street vehicles don't run when it is really busy or for a while before or after parades.
The just make the circle down Main Street toward the castle, around the circle in front of the castle and then back up Main Street. They have a stop by the Train Station on Main Street and in front of the castle.

We saw the trolley performers- its a little opening show.

On the KTTK tour, our tourguide pointed to a spot on the curb on main st. and said to stand there and the performers will stop right in front of us in 30 seconds. So the show stopped in front of us and the performers were lip synching their song- one of them whispered to us "Looks real, doesn't it?" It was funny. -Steph
