Is there a list of WDW events somewhere?

Hi all hoping you can help and I can't seem to find the answer on my own. Is there a website with a list of events for WDW? How far in advance are they announced? We will be travelling to the world next spring and was thinking maybe I could combine our trip with a race if possible.

Thanks for any help you can give. It is inspiring to see so many folks running/walking/tri-athaloning. I just did a 5k, don't know when my next race will be, but am always looking for something interesting to run.

Go to disneysports.com and there will be a listing of the events that are open for registration under sports, endurance, etcetera. In the spring, there is a Princess half marathon and I think there is a 5K with that in March.

Also, I just learned yesterday that you can go directly to the list of events by going to http://www.disneyenduranceseries.com. It goes to ultimately the same place, but it takes you directly to that page.

Also, in the welcome sticky there are direct links to the official individual Disney races, as well as a link to the WISH thread of participants for that race.

When were you planning on going? Most of those listed are the current races. I also list the races and lots of reports/pics if you happen to pick an existing race.

Disney has been creating new races as of late but would a lot more of them. Especially in the Summer.

We are thinking of going next May. I will keep checking the schedule and see if something should come up that I like. Thanks for the help!!
