There is a jazzed up version, Its on one of the Disneymania cd's. The jazzed up version of ZIP is also on Disneymania and is by Aly and AJ!! or something like that. They are both on Itunes if you search for Disneyania

There are actually 2 jazzed up versions of IASW - both by Baha Men. One's on Disneymania 2 and the other on Disney Remix Mania. Both are very popular in this house!

My girls' dance recital's finale is a jazzed up/hip hop-py type version of Small World.
My girls think it's an abomination:rotfl2: Their Momma raised them as Disney purists:rotfl:

So I know it exists. If you want I can ask their dance teacher where she got it.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah (Album Version) Ric Ocasek
Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf (Album Version) L.L. Cool J
I've Got No Strings (Album Version) Gipsy Kings
The Bare Necessities (Album Version) Harry Connick, Jr.
The Siamese Cat Song (Album Version) Bobby McFerrin
Listen 8. Kiss The Girl (Album Version) Soul II Soul
A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes (Album Version) Michael Bolton

I was cleaning out and got rid of my tape that I bought when these were released, I also have the VHS somewhere. Last summer I downloaded these onto my IPod.

There is an intriguing new rendition of "Everybody Wants to be a Cat" by an Englilsh group known as Psapp (oh, for Bob to give this one a try ;) ) that I recently heard at Starbucks. You can listen to it on the band's MySpace page:

I have the cd of this as well as the VHS tape. My favorite is Harry Connick's version of Bare Necessities....but there are lots of other great ones on there as well.
