Is there a homemade recipe for dry cat food?

DH asked me if we could make our own dry cat food since we go through so much of it. I don't know....is there one out there? I know you can make dog biscuits at home but I don't know about cat food.

I have seen all kinds of pet recipes on www.recipegoldmine.com if there is a recipe for cats it would be there. I use it for craft ideas, home remedies, all kinds of stuff - oh yeah - and FOOD too!

There is at least one dry catfood recipe in "Natural Health for Dogs and Cats". The author's name is Pitcairn I think...

My parents have a purebred Birman that they got as a kitten from a breeder. He came with a recipe for food that included "garlic to taste" . Needless to say my mom didn't make it for him. Sorry, I know it doesn't help you. It's was just a funny story. Not much of a story though.

I have a dog biscuit recipe like that (garlic to taste)! I've never made it either!

Sorry OP - can't help you -
but I do find the topic very funny
and thinking about it - I think it is one of those things that would be MORE expensive to make youself -
just buy a cheaper brand! (Think Kamora instead of Kalhua)
