Is there a HINT to making ice cubes so they don't stick?

I guess I don't understand the question. I currently have an automatic ice maker. I used to fill the little tubs though with water and wait for them to harden, then crack them out. I never had a problem before. You just hold the tray by each end and twist in opposite directions....

There are people who don't have an icemaker?

I HATED ice cube trays!!!!

Sounds like it's time to buy a new freezer... with an automatic ice maker.

Buy the most flexible plastic ones you can find. After you twist, give the tray a little flick straight up and re-catch the ice cubes on their sides. Easier to get out that way.

Don't leave the freezer door open for a few hours and then close it. :) You'll just get an iceburg in the ice cube container.

I don't have an icemaker either. The only thing I can suggest is pricier ice cube trays. I have the covered ones Tupperware makes and they're great. You can twist easily and they pop right out - my kids can do it.

Run warm water on the bottom, or set them out for a minute or two.

We have two icemakers in our new house and they both run non stop!
