Is there a guide for the methods of transportation in/around/between the parks?

I've been doing my research for our May trip (fingers crossed that it doesn't get canceled!) and I'm kind of overwhelmed with the transportation options. There's Skyliner, buses, ferries, monorail, Minnie Vans, etc, plus some things are in walking distance to other things. Is there a list out there that shows the best way to get from A to B? It sounds like sometimes, a combination of transportation options might be faster than just taking a bus or rideshare (Take ferry to X, then take monorail, etc.) I tried searching online, but I wasn't able to find an exhaustive/definitive list that included Skyliner. Just want to make sure we're using our time effectively while we're there!

Just around in general. On our arrival day we're wanting to check in at Pop, then visiting Disney Springs and hit up Trader Sam's. Later in the trip, we're starting a day at DHS, then going to Epcot for the rest of the day.

I saw the stickied thread, but it's hundreds of pages and the first page didn't seem to be up to date.

It’s direct between resorts and parks (or Disney Springs), or from park to park. It just gets tricky when you’re going from one resort to another, because you’ll have to transfer somewhere.

For you I would bus from pop to Disney springs, Disney springs to Polynesian, monorail to magic kingdom, bus back to pop. Or the reverse. You’ll feel weary of transportation if you try to go back to pop between your visits to Disney springs and trader sams.

My favorite way to connect Hollywood studios and Epcot is walking, but it’s a long walk. I think skyliner is technically faster, but it seems so out of the way to transfer at Caribbean beach. So when I’m too tired to walk I take the ferry. It’s relaxing, but slower than walking.

Someone will chime in to just do rideshare, but it’s not required if you’re staying completely on property. I think Disney Transport is part of the fun, so why spend extra money on rideshares?

Well, it took me and my cousin nearly 2 hours to get from point a to b over Princess weekend, so...that’s a reason why.

There used to be a neat little app called Transportation Wizard that had exactly what you’re wanting. You could pick any two locations and it would tell you every way to get from point A to point B, plus appropriate times. Sadly, it isn’t kept up anymore—at least for iOS. If you have a different phone, though, check your App Store.

Check in day is easy, bus from Pop to DS, bus from DS to Poly, monorail or boat to MK then bus to Pop.

DHS and Epcot are walkable, there is also a boat with three stops prior to Epcot and if you want to try the skyliner there would be one transfer.

General rule of thumb, there is transportation between each resort and the parks, as well as park to park. There is also bus transportation between resorts and Disney springs. Resort to resort transportation is more tricky as you have to transfer via a park or DS. We usually use resort transportation to/from and between the parks and then budget $ for resort to resort rides and sometimes Disney Springs.

I never recommend using that. It isn't kept up to date, and some of the routes it gives you are not ones anyone should use.
Thanks....I've tried using them and have gotten incorrect instructions.

So, basically...if you're at a resort, and you want to go to another resort, you have to get to a park and then transfer there. There is no resort to resort transportation. Well, you can take the monorail between the MK resorts. And you can take boats between the Epcot resorts. Or there is the Skyliner. But, basically resort to resort is not possible.
All parks have access to the other parks...via foot, boat, bus or monorail.
To get to DS, you'll have to get there from a resort, or if it's after 4pm, you can take a bus from a park. But, there is no return service to get to the parks from DS.
