DH and I are looking to spend a week in Las Vegas come January of 2010. We were told that there was a hotel in Las Vegas that we could book through MS but I have yet to find it. I have looked at the dvcmember website and dont see it there. Can anyone help?

There are currently no DVC resorts in Las Vegas, but there are options via other DVC programs.

On the member website, select the Member Getaways ... World Passport Collection ... Weekly Exchanges link and then follow the RCI links to see the resorts available. You would still want to have some lead time for specific dates and/or specific resorts, but MS can guide you thru that process.

Good luck! :)

Looks like there are number of nice places. The Hilton at the Flamino has a great locatin. Desert Rose has a decent location and great Trip Advisor reviews.

But keep in mind that Vegas is a screaming bargain right now. It's hard to predict prices, but you might be able to get into a 5* resort for $800-900 for a week in January. You might get into a really nice place for maybe $600. And if you really want a 1BR rather than a hotel room, you Desert Rose might be $700-800 for the week. Just something to think about.

I second the above post. Vegas is such a deal right now - and January is always a great time for great prices!! You should sign up for the hotels newsletters they are offering unbelievable pricing. Even the Bellagio had a buy 2 nights get one free or buy 3 nights get 2 free etc. I think you would be better off waiting and seeing what specials come out!!

Where is the hotels newsletter sign up site. I agree that staying at a hotel and paying cash is probably a much better deal. But I just wanted to know how to find the hotels that were available as a DVC member.

Thanks all! :yay:

Just go to the hotels websites and they all have newsletters to sign up for or clubs to join. If you just type in which hotels you are interested in there websites will come up. MGM Mirage group owns a lot of different ones and I believe if you sign up for one you will get all the offers. We have stayed at the Venetian and The Palazzo, Treasure Island, Mirage, Luxor all were great. We like the Venetian the best. Some others are Wynn and Encore, Bellagio, Paris, Harrahs, Luxor, New York New York, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, MGM, Excalibur, Circus Circus. We get offers from all of them!!
