Is there a DL app for fast pass times?

Is there an app for fast pass times available? For example, if I am across the park and want to know if RSR has any fast passes available can the app tell me? If they don't, I won't have to walk all the way over there. I can get a fast pass ticket for something else closer to me.

I have Mousewait App on my iPhone that has a place where the fastpass return times can be updated by other application users. This includes whether or not the fastpasses are still available. The accuracy of the application is solely dependent on how many other users are bothering to enter the wait times and fastpass return times. I have not used this app in over a year in the parks but it seemed pretty reliable when I used it for the first time on some trips in 2013. I plan on checking it out along with the Mouseaddict App for usefulness and accuracy this July when the parks will be packed-to-the-gills and there should be lots of users entering wait and fastpass return times.

You can call "Ask Otto" and they will tell you the current wait times and if fastpasses are available and what return time they are currently giving out. The number is 1-714-520-7090.

Is this a Disney service or a third party?

It's Disney. The service and phone number is printed on the maps and the times guide. You don't have to be in the parks to use it either. You could call right now and get the times.

Awesome! Thanks!! :D

What a great tip - thanks!
Just tried the number and Otto told me RSR has a 40 minute standby wait time and the next fastpass time is for 2:30 pm. Cool!!

Otto will come in handy for the 24 hour event. It will be crowded and I can plan what fast pass stations to hit up without wasting time and energy.

Just tried the Ask Otto line! Very cool. The only down side is that it does not allow for fast scanning of multiple attractions or places to eat but you would think it should be very accurate. Anyone know how long has Ask Otto been available?

Summer of 2012 based on when the Parks Blog post was created.

The only other drawback to Otto that's worth noting is that it cannot tell you the FP time/viewing area for WoC or F! or if the return times for the character meet & greets. The other issue that I ran across was it can be hard to distinguish between "15" and "50" (small issue, I know, but something to keep in mind). Otherwise, I found Ask Otto to useful.

It can't tell you WoC? Ah rats. I was hoping to utilize this for 24 hour event.

That last time I tried, it'll tell you about WoC and the show times for that day/night, but not where the FPs are at that point.

I sort of wish they would have an app like they have at WDW, maybe one day

There used to be an official app, or maybe it was a website, that showed wait times and fastpass return times - I think it was called Mobile Magic. That was a couple years ago. I don't know why it "went away" - it sure was nice for a while. Mousewait ranges from totally worthless to very helpful...you just don't now which one you're getting until you either "ask Otto" or check out the lines yourself. I guess it's better than nothing.

It went away because it was developed by Verizon and was originally exclusive to Verizon customers, but eventually was open to other carriers. Disney switched to AT&T with the launch of MM+. AT&T provides the wifi in WDW. After the switch Mobile Magic died a slow death and was turned off at some point, I think early 2014

Mouse wait is only a shadow of what it once was. A couple years ago it was very accurate but it feels like the quantity of users has dropped off and wait times are not being updated as frequently which the app solely relies on. I view Mousewait as worthless now and I no longer use it

I just recently downloaded an app a few days ago called Lines or the specific version DLR Lines. It was recommended on another website. The fastpass and line wait info looks accurate from looking at it just now but my next visit isn't for another 3 weeks so I don't know for sure. Hope this helps!
