Is there a Disney cruise line that caters only to adults or teens?

Do you possibly mean one ship or one itinerary on DCL that caters only to adults or teens....? The answer is no. I believe any age can sail on any itinerary (except for the infant age restriction).

There are plenty of cruise lines that have age restrictions or that cater more to adults. Disney isn't one of them.

I wish... My inaugural northern european caputal cruise in 2010 had like none and it was sooooo different but fun. Out of curiousity I went to Friendship rocks and they had like a dozen of kids on the stage....

If you are looking for a kid-less DCL cruise, then sign up for one when school is in session. When we took the WBTA last Sept. there were only 200 kids on board. During the evening shows, with a magician or comedian, they had to scrounge through the audience to come up with a kid or two to participate in their act/skit. The DCL caters to families (no casinos, more kids' clubs) and does not do adult-only or booze cruises. If you want one, try another cruise line.

Along with cruising when school is in session, the longer cruises tend to have fewer kids because of the cost.

We were on the Fantasy's 11 day Southern Caribbean cruise this June. Lots of teens and adults and fewer young kids.

Wife and I did the 2011 Wonder WB Panama Canal cruise, and it was the same thing. If I remember correctly; a CM said there were about 300 children on board which I guess is about 1/3 of what there is on a typical Disney cruise. We sat with two other couples during dinner and one of the women made a comment that was very true.
'We are on a Disney cruise and it seems as though we were the youth on board'. Because a majority of diners surrounding us were closer to or over retirement age. Which I guess makes sense because it was a 14 night cruise while school was in session. I'm assuming that a majority of children on this cruise were home schooled.

My wife & I are kids at heart, both in our 80's and love kids. Between our grand kids & great grand kids there are 21! We have gone to DW "alone" and 3 out 5 cruises "alone" 2 being during Christmas and have never had problems, but we love Disney & kids. If you want nightclubs and other "adult" activities I would think that there are other alternatives than DCL

I dont mind some but on the other extreme I dit a carraibean cruise 7n October 2011 that was full on all younger age quota. It was a very noisy cruise with lots of kids on the loose, running and screaming in hallways...and lines for characters were always HUGE.
I ve done a lot of the longer cruises and those usually have indeed a smaller ratio kids on it so may be it is just a shock to me when they are on full ratio...

I have friends that go on tbe "groove cruise" may be up your alley. Not a seperate cruise line per se though

The goal is not to be away from kids but to find a cruise with a little more focus on young teens instead of young children. Thoughts?

I would think the Star Wars and Marvel days at sea are more appealing to teens vs young kids.
And as I posted before, the longer the itinerary, the less young kids and this results in even adult activities in the kids clubs! yay for midnight flubber at the lab

I would think that the Alaskan and European itineraries would have fewer young kids...but who knows!
