Is there a direct bus to Poly from WL?

Hi everyone...can I take a bus from WL to Poly? I thought I read somewhere that maybe AK? bus stops at GF and POly along w/ WL. Do they stop at these other resorts first? Can I get on at WL and get off at Poly w/o going to a park to transfer? We were going to take the boat to Contemp. and then monorail it over, but if we are pressed for time, I want to have a shorter, alternate plan. Anyone know?? Thanks!

We just returned from a week at the VWL, and I believe almost any bus from WL stops at the Grand Floridian and the Poly before going on to the parks. The only bus that DOES NOT make those hotel stops is the one for Epcot as patrons of GF and Poly can take the monorail.

MinnieMe2 is correct. Buses to AK and MGM Studios stop at the Poly next. Then they go on to the GF and their destination parks.

What about busses *returning* from the parks?

Does this mean that if I want to get from MGM to the Poly, I can get on a WL bus, because its next stop after WL will be the Poly?

Or has "Magic on Demand" made this sort of situation too fluid to predict?

Yes. The bus stop at MGM will be marked "Wilderness Lodge/Polynesian/Grand Floridian". This is a fixed route which would not be altered by MOD, which I understand has been suspended for the summer anyway.

You could also take the boat from Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom, then transfer to the monorail, or take another boat to the Polynesian from the Mk dock. This might be a good way back to the WL from the Polynesian.

I have seen a million questions on bus routes. Is there any published schedule, or at least a bus route map available through Disney? Why does this have to be such a guessing game?

I haven't stayed at the WL yet (first stay there will be in December) but I recall reading on these boards that there is a bus from the WL to the TTC. From the TTC, it is a very short walk to the Poly. Then again, I guess it depends where you need to go at the Poly. If you're going to the Great Ceremonial House to a restaurant, it'd be a pretty short walk. But if you're going all the way to the other end, to the Luau for instance, it could be quite a hike from the TTC. You can always just catch the monorail from the TTC to the Poly if you'd like. But it's a pleasant walk as well.
