Is there a calculator for the 7 month window??

I know there is a PS or ADR calculator but I was wondering if there is a 7 month window calculator for DVC?? I just thought it would be helpful to have a calculator to remind me when to try to move my ressie to another resort.

Yes there is! Go to www.caskbill.com and download his programs. They are highly recommended here on the Disboards. I know the DVC planner can be used to figure the 7 month windows. These programs are highly addictive and very helpful in figuring you next vacation(s).

On Caskbill's DVC planner, once you've entered your vacation plan, you go to Feature, and click on Show Vacation Report. That report will show all the relevant info -- checkin, checkout, nights & points, cleaning schedule, etc.

It will also automatically show the opening dates for the 11 and 7 month windows...and they are even adjusted for days when MS is closed. Hard to beat that...especially when it's free.

Yes! I use caskbill's program all the time to get ideas and dates organized! It is WONDERFUL! I am "planned" up through 2010!

If you were making a vacation plan for December 2007, here's a cropped example of what the report would look like for a 2-week OKW 1/B/R vacation.

Note the 7-month, day-by-day reservation dates that show when you can call. The program adjusts for weekends, and see how it adjusted for the Memorial Day on Monday May 28th, 2007, when MS will be closed, and you'd have to wait until Tuesday to call.

You can also have it show 11-month day-by-day dates, or set it for 'normal' view where it shows you trash and towel and full cleaning days.
