Hi,

Get yourself a Nationwide bank account and debit card - they don't charge you for withdrawls in country and will not charge you a conversion charge. The only way to maximise the rate! Do not use change shops or the hotels. Use the ATM just like at home but get Euros out!

Too late to get one, and its not worth it for £60.

My mum was saying the other day when she popped to france for the day that the rate over there was much better than the rate here.

I'm not bothered about how many euros i get for £60 weather it be less or more.
