Couples in Disney?? I thought there was, but I can't find it! We're going for our 5yr anniversary in August and we're leaving the kids at home!! :yay: So now I'm looking for romantic things to do. Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure about the other board. It depends on what your budget is really.

You can get a couples massage at the GF, you can do a wishes cruise and pay for private dining, you can also do a carriage ride in one of the resorts.

pedal a Swan at Swan & Dolphin hotel.
mention it'll be a honeymoon/anniversary when booking your room.
put rose pedals on the bed.
Take a boat/yacht ride to watch Illuminations/Wishes?

Oh I believe the board for Adults qualifies as couples board

Perhaps you are thinking of the adult & solo traveler board?

Well, there are a lot of anniversary celebrations discussed in here. I think if you are looking for ideas on romance with your spouse while at Disney, this is the place to be. Granted, most of the anniversary people here are planning vow renewals, but there's still a wealth of great ladies and ideas here. ~Ev :)

That's why I thought this board would be perfect! ;) We're doing a vow renewal in 2008 and I lurk here often, post occasionally. We're thinking about doing a boat Illuminations tour/thing. lol But I like the Wishes idea better. My 4yr old was playing in the Pooh play area during Wishes, so I missed most of it. We want to do a Dessert Party for our VR, can you do that as a romantic 2 person thing on this trip, or does it have to be a party?

that sounds like a great idea for VR!
but 2008 is still quite a way to go :) no body knows what Disney would have at that time...

If you contact Private Dining, they can answer those questions for the procedure now, but as groomtb said, 2008 is too far off. I've had difficulty getting solid answers for December 2006, and am usually told to wait til the 180 day mark to make plans. We have a party of 7 and were told for a private party that small, it would be reserved with the same time format as regular dining reservations (as we are not having a FTW renewal). We are planning a family luncheon on the day of our church renewal, and then a romantic dinner for just the two of us for that night. Good luck in your planning! ~Ev :)

To clarify, I'm looking for romantic things to do for THIS year, August 2006. So far I'm not having much luck.

What about a nice dinner at California Grill or even at Victoria and Alberts, or a Horse carriage ride- I think it's at Fort Wilderness Cabins and Campgrounds.
