Is there a April 2008 code watch thread? **This seems to be it!!

I'll be checking in 4/2/08 and just made all my ADR's, INCLUDING lunch at the Castle. Anyone else complete their ADR's yet? I'm so excited!

I'm sort of new on this forum and i've posted a couple times. i'll be going on my honeymoon towards the end of april and i was curious if there was any clue as to when disney usually releases codes for this time period. i know you probably don't know the date but just a general idea. thanks so much

I know last year, around February, there was an unbelievable 40% off pin code that was good for some time in April. I couldn't even imagine!

Mary at Mousesavers.com has done a terrific job of keeping track of release dates over the years. You can check her historical analysis at http://www.mousesavers.com/historicalwdwdiscounts.html

Nothing is guaranteed, but it's helpful to see what WDW has done in the past. With WDW a lot busier now than it has been since 2001, it's hard to say what they'll do for April 2008, but this might help you evaluate things.

It's possible. If you book and then codes come out for your dates and resort AND they are available, you can get them applied to your reservation (or, you make a new reservation with the code and cancel your old reservation). We have done that. Sometimes we had to switch resorts, etc.

We are only going 4 days this year and I'm not sure how much if anything we'd save renewing the AP just to get a room discount. Anyone have and general idea what percentage an AP rate is so I can start to figure out if I'd have any potential savings? We are staying CR this trip.

Save 20% off the nondiscounted price for stays most nights 10/21-11/3/07, 11/11-11/17/07, 12/9-12/15/07, 1/6-2/2/08, 2/24-3/1/08, 3/30-4/12/08, 8/10-9/27/08, 10/19-11/1/08, 11/9-11/15/08 and 12/7-12/13/08.

Does the 20% apply for any resort or only value? We were doing CS for April 4-12th. I'm going to have to call and ask but if the moderate resorts are included in the 20% I'm going to be so excited! That could save us a bundle!

I'd call and ask but it seems if the code if for value then the flex might be for value. If it's for moderate that would be awesome!
