Can anyone tell me if the Yacht Club Galley closed or not? I have got PS there for Thanksgiving and was even read out the Thanksgiving menu, but have read on this board that it is closed.
Thanks in advance

It was closed for a while, including last Thanksgiving, but it's open now. The other website probably just had old information.

It is OPEN!!! It was closed after 9/11, but it opened up a couple of months ago. Go there & enjoy!!!!! :D

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YC RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are staying at the BCV's for the first time (ever in this area too). Is the Yacht club galley similar to Beaches and cream? Is it kind of like fast food? Is there breakfast?

Nobody has said anything wrong, but, yes it is open but only for Breakfast and Lunch. It would seem to reason that they will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day.

YCG is a bit more upscale than Beaches and Cream. The lunch menu consists primarily of sandwiches, but they're not just grilled sandwiches. They also have clam chowder, salads, and some appetizers. I think there are also a few hot entrees.

IMO YCG and Trails End are the best non-character breakfast buffets on property ( hmm, are there any others? ). I almost went postal when YCG was closed on our Feb trip.

Actually they are serving a Thanksgiving Day Buffet with a carving station. Yep, I will be there. tried to go last year but PS was cancelled after it closed.

Just returned from BWI for 6 nights and had the breakfast buffet at the Yacht Club Galley. Very good selection of foods, very hot and fresh. Would recommend, I think it was 13.99 for adults and 6.99 for children. Enjoy. Husband had steak and eggs for 12.99 and at Spoodles would have cost 16.99. Spoodles had good breakfast also but not as much to choose from AND more expensive.;)

Thanks to all who have eased my fears on whether the YCG was open or not. One other thing and excuse my ignorance for asking but can you drive to and park for free in the YC Resort car park whilst at the restaurant or is the parking for staying guests only?
