Well incase you haven't heard there is a project happening in Switzerland. They have created a machine that will smash particles together and will possibly show what the universe looked like bilionths of a second after the big bang. The big 'Switch-on' will be tomorrow. More info in the website below. People have been told that there are a number of possible outcomes. These include the creation of a black hole or even the world ending. My physics teacher, no lie, told us that he had been invited to the launch of this but he couldn't go because it was too near the beginning of the school term. More information in the link below.
