Is the whole site usually down for new offers?

Is it usually just the special offers page thats down for new offers or the whole site?

I can't get any calls to go thru either?? Been trying to call for about 30 minutes and it keeps saying your call cannot go thru. Just for the heck of it I tried calling Universal to make sure it wasn't my phone with long distance and it went thru fine. Been trying to add airfare to our reservation. Anyone else have trouble calling?

Jeez, I hope something's coming. I just got word from my husband that he's got business in Orlando this fall, and we can come along!!! We weren't expecting a WDW trip until late next year, so it's a huge surprise. Soooooo so anxious to book!!!

I tried to get on the Disney Parks site several times and keep getting "internet explorer cannot display the website". I hope this means discounts are coming.

I couldn't get online, but was able to get through on the phone. Just added the Magic Express to my reservation as the plane tickets finally went on sale. Yeah, we are really going.

I called (3:00) to make an appointment for Harmony Barber Shop and the operator told me that the whole system was down and I would need to call back later. Also hoping for some great discounts

I've checked a few times, the site seems okay to me, but no new discounts are up. I still can't get through on the phone though...

I've tried all day to browse around with no luck however last time I checked I was able to load part of a page and it seems like they are changing the site.

I can't access ressies or price rooms, packages, etc. Also can't get on to make ADRs. All of those options still say the site is down for maintenance.
But I've had issues with having my ressie pull up the last week. & my countdown hasn't moved from 179 more days since last Tuesday, lol. So, it needs the help I hope they're giving it!!

Still getting the same message here too. It says that the system is unavailable at this time. Also says that you can call if you have general questions. I hope this means the discounts are coming!!!

It's the cruise site as well. I think something went down with their entire system..hopefully they were not hacked or anything of the sort For a while you couldn't even get to any of the sites or get a call through. Now the sites are back up but you can't actually search anything..

Of note, I also went over to expedia to check out prices, and they keep telling me no rooms are available. I've randomly tried various dates in the future, and it says the same thing for all Disney hotels. So whatever it is at the Disney site, its affecting other search engines, as well.

Last year, they released some 2012 discounts in mid-August.... which was much earlier than typical. More often, October would be the time to start seeing 2012 discounts.

I doubt the CM you spoke with really knew anything firm. Just an educated guess, based on patterns he has seen.

I wouldn't be shocked if there were no 2012 discounts till October.
I also wouldn't be shocked to see something sooner.

I am expecting late 2011 discounts to be released in early July. And *maybe* they will also include early booking 2012 discounts at that time.

I have noticed that the 3rd party sites do not have any 2012 dates yet... Were you only searching 2012, or 2011 as well?

It working for me so far Had a few problems around 2PM calling but got through & check on my ressie. Who know with Disney anymore It like the United.com site lol
