Is the water at BB & TL cold or is it heated? i will be there early-mid april. trying to decide if we should go there or not. also is it worth it to do both BB & TL? Is it possible to do BB & MGM in one day?

We've gone in April before and it was plenty hot enough for a swim (keeping in mind that we are from NY). We did think the water felt warmer in TL than BB.
I would absolutely recommend that you DO NOT try to do both a water park and MGM in a day :sad2:, unless you are going back to MGM another time. My kids were exhausted from the water parks. Depending on how much your family likes to swim and slide you could easily be there for several hours.

Well being from canada the water is plenty cold here unless in an indoor pool, which is only warm in winter. Is it worth it to do both parks?BB & TL?

We were at Typhoon Lagoon last October. It was amazing. The weather when you are going to be there averages a high of 80. I know because it turns out we will be there too at the exact same time, so I have been watching. I think the water is kept at a pleasant temp - not chilly, not warm. In any case, I completely love the disney waterparks. They are now a must do, and a major reason we no longer go to Disneyworld, which would be lots eaiser to do as we live in the west.

One thing I did want to point out, if you go to a water park and a major park (MK EP AK MGM), you will be using two different paid for passes. You cannot "hop" from MK to TL. You use one of your regular day passes for MK and either pay seperately for TL or use one of your "plus" passes, if you purchased these. This isn't a big deal for the day you want to split with DTD, as there isn't any entrance fee, but it just makes for a seriously expensive day if you are going to one of the major parks. Just wanted to make sure you were aware. Besides, I am so taken with the waterparks, I actually don't think it is worth only going for a few hours. You then have to get back to your accomodations, clean up and get to another park, for maybe alot more money. Just my opinion. But relaxing at the water parks is a real treat. Trust me on this one. You will need the break from the chaos of the parks. BTW, I wouldn't say I am a fan of regular water parks at all - I actually pretty much avoid them, but Disney is just different. You'll see.

Ok I have a 7 day hopper plus (giving me unlimited to MGM and total 4 visits to BB,TL,PI,&WWS) so Could I use one of my plus visits to go to BB and then hop to MGM? :confused3

Yes, you will use one of your pluses at a water park and one of your regular passes for MGM. I didn't mean to confuse you. Sometimes trying to make things perfectly clear isn't as easy as it should be! Hope I helped instead of adding to your confusion!

We have PAP's we've gone swimming at the water parks at all times of the year. The water is heated. Last time we went to bb was in January. The wave pool was colder than I would have liked, but the slides were warmer and the lazy river was nice and warm.

We were in TL early December and the wave pool was warm-the board where they post temperatures said 76 degrees and the tube ride on the slow moving "Creek" was like a bathtub-80 degrees plus! :sunny: It was wonderful! We stayed 10 days and had a 7 day park hopper plus. We went twice to TLusing up two of our "pluses"-both times we dedicated both of those days to the waterpark only as the kids are happy but exhausted!
