Is The Void worth doing?

Just for people wondering, tickets for the void in DTD are on sale for dates through the end of February. The schedule is wreck it Ralph Sun-Wed and half day Thur and then Star Wars other half on Thur then Fri/Sat.
I bought tickets for March 3 weeks ago. I wanted Star Wars on a Saturday or Sun, but it was only available on Monday during our trip, so I definitely think the schedule varies.
Edit: When I check now, there are no times available past February. I double checked my confirmation email and I do indeed have tickets for March, very strange.

Weird. I would call them to verify your tickets.

My 11 yo cannot wait to do this. I dislike video games but have to go since he is 11. Is it doable for non gaming people? I’m more afraid I’m going to mess it up for the random couple we will be with.
I’ve never gotten into video games past Dr Mario and I loved the SW version of the void.

DH and I switched off when we went, since we had our too-young boys with us. He and DD went first, and it was just the two of them. Then I went. I was put with another solo person and a couple, but only after the void employees asked us all if we wanted to go together (they said the mission would be more difficult solo). So you might not be with any strangers.

Does anybody know if they are changing up the shows anytime soon? I thought I read somewhere that an Avengers choice was coming soon?

They have announced they are doing a marvel type experience this year but it sounds like it will be based on one of the movies coming out this year and since they don't come up until March through July, then it could be later in the year.

I'll have 3 adults and 1 11 yr old who really wants to do Void, but I'm not sure what the other 5 kids can do to stay entertained. Any suggestions? Maybe a trip to get ice cream?

Yes, Salt & Straw is good, and possibly take them shopping at World of Disney. Another really tasty treat offered in DTD is the churro ice cream sandwich sold from a cart! You could easily fill an hour browsing around DTD, and then everyone can ride the monorail back into DL when the others are finished with The Void.
