Is the Tables in Wonderland card worth it?

Have been cruising last several years instead of WDW.
So if we have six people going on our trip. All our table service meals are discounted at 20%??
Eating out 7 nights would easily pass the 500$ break even point.
Am I missing something??

FOR UP TO 10 GUESTS AT A SINGLE TABLE.

An 18% gratuity is automatically added to your check when you use TiW, no matter how many people are dining at your table.

The 20% discount is applied BEFORE the tax is calculated. The 18% gratuity is calculated BEFORE the 20% discount is applied.

After taking all of that into consideration, you will have to spend approx. $500 before tax in order to break even on the cost of the TiW card.

Yes we are DVC. sounds like it will be worth it. Everyone will be of age next trip so a nice beverage would be part of dinner. Thanks
