Is the table service DDP enough food for us ???

I assume you're getting entree mixed up with appetiser, an entree is a "main". You are right that an entree, or main course and a dessert are included on DDP, appetisers you can pay for oop, I don't know how people could fit that in though, I'd be stuffed! Lol :)

Hi all
I cannot believe anyone eats all the food on any of the plans. We had the qsdp included, 6 of us for 21 nights we had 252 meals and 252 snacks. We tended to gave Bowl of cornflakes in the cabin for breakfast and one meal from the plan through the day. Didn't want all 3 courses but had to have them which we left on the table. We did have about 20 snacks left, but the qs plan we had over 130 meals left and we were never hungry. We are not picky eaters it was nice stuff, bit too American but it was good. But I just can't believe anyone could stomach 2 meals a day with desert and massive pop and 2 snacks.

But u brought breakfast and ate in the room. If u had used 1 snack credit to buy cereal and 1 snack credit for milk for breakfast (or 1 CS for a continental) each every morning, u would have gone through your credits a whole lot faster. Also, having a group of 6 to share and split credits with over the course of an extended 21 day stay makes a big difference over the typical family of 4 staying a week.

I find its plenty...but because we also want bfast in the food court (dh likes a "proper bfast") we absolutely have to share and be slightly careful to have our credits cover the whole trip.

I tend to find the people who say it's way too much food bring/buy breakfast to eat in their rooms. If u want it to cover breakfast too, u have to stretch the credits a bit and then it no longer feels like way too much food.

No, it is the one thing they are really strict on - no swapping your dessert for an appetiser.

A few years ago you got an appetiser and a dessert, AND tip was included in the DDP.
I would much prefer a starter to a pudding, but i suppose theres a lot more profit to be made on a bowl of ice cream than crab cakes ::yes::

Yes, we did free dining and paid for it when it was both plus tip included - that was great.

Would never pay for it now - will use the free dining and discount at OKW to help stretch DVC points.
