Is the 'room' area at PBH really that much bigger than RPR?

My family of four and our two dogs (have to bring them - one is diabetic and vet is booked) are going to Uni for a quick trip during Christmas break. I've booked RPR because we've stayed there before and loved everything about it. I am now second guessing myself. This is our first trip with the dogs and I'm wondering if the room will be big enough for all of us.

I know the square footage at PBH is bigger, but it looks like most of that extra square footage is in the bathroom which wouldn't really help our situation much. Is the sleeping area much bigger when comparing the two?

Also, for those who may have stayed at both resorts with their dogs is the walking area better at one resort over the other?

I only want to stay Loews so I can retain my Blue status.

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

I can't answer your question as someone who has stayed in the hotels, but I can answer from a "trolling the boards" point of view. From what I understand the majority of the extra square footage is in the bathroom. Not sure if you have stayed at the Poly, which has about the area but again, from what I've read the rooms at PBH seem smaller because of the configuation. Our room at the Poly seemed huge. Sorry, can't comment about dogs as our dog has a holiday of her own when we go away :flower3:

While I have not stayed at Royal Pacific, I have stayed at PBH, last New Years, and returning again this New Years, with two LARGE dogs (a shepard and a lab) with two LARGE kennels for them, and I can't rave enough about the room, walking area, acceptance of pets, and overall experience at PBH. We booked here last year specifically because of the extra square footage (450 sq. ft, standard) over the Hard Rock and Royal Pacific by I think like 75 sq. ft - bathroom or not, our room was perfect, a walk out french door to the Bay area terrace, with a beautiful walking path all around the Bay. Having that walk out for those midnight walks when we got back from City Walk, not having to walk through the lobby was so convenient. We had two teenage girls with us as well, all our luggage, dog stuff and teenage girl stuff, no problems at all! 25 days and counting!!! Can't wait to do it all again. PBH is the way to go with pets!

Good luck, and maybe we'll see you walking your dogs during that week :)

They are Larger, but would depend on how much extra it was before i would book it, RPR is fine, plus its our fav resort
