One of my DD's classmates is going to Disney over Christmas. We (the mom and I) we talking a bit about it and she told me she and her DD were going o the perfectly princess tea party. I told her I wanted to do it some day, but it was just too expensive. She told me they were just using the dining plan for it. It took 2 credits each. I know at one time the wonderland teaparty could use a dining credit, but I thought they did away with that, and was surprised that this one still allowed it. But she told me the CM on the phone told her she could. Is this totally wrong info, or can it be done?

I just did this last week with my DD and it isn't of the dining plan.

It was $250 (plus tax?) but inc gratuity paid in full at time of booking.

That was for one adult and child.

We loved it, hoping to do a review asap - I know when I was looking reviews were thin on the ground.

Maybe she is confused with CRT???

It took me a while for the cm on the phone to find it to reserve and a cm at the GF didn't know where it was. I guess because it is not popular it is not so well known.

The Perfectly Princess Tea is not available on the dining plan. Neither is Alice's Tea Party for children, or the afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room.

As far as I know you could never use a dining credit for Alice's tea party. Only children are allowed to attend this event, no parents. I don't think Disney would give this one up for a child's DDP credit.

I do not know if any of the tea parties are available on the Premium or Platinum Package Plans which are not the same as the dining plans.

Thanks. When you do a review, let me know. I would love to read it.

I know the Wonderland tea party used to be on the dining plan back when it was much cheaper to do. I think it's even listed in passporter (or one other guidebook I own) too.

i've done my review (my first ever review) in the restaurant reviews section - lots of pics. The link is in my signature.
