Is the Piano player at coke corner allowing guests?

In previous years the ragtime pianist at the Coke corner would allow guests to play if they asked him, but when we went to Disney World last December, the pianist didn't seem to know anything about that, and said they would have to ask somebody at one of the hotels to play those pianos. Did they change their policy due to covid? Or is this something they allow at Disneyland but not disneyworld? We have a trip that's coming up, and I would like to know if my 12-year-old daughter who loves to play ragtime will be allowed to play the maple leaf rag in Disneyland. If anyone has noticed this recently, I would appreciate any recent info.
Thank you!

Rules are often different between the coasts. While it seems like they should have the same rules and processes, they really function as completely separate businesses.

I saw the ragtime pianist yesterday. The piano isn't in it's usual spot. They moved it to a corner of the Jolly Holiday outdoor raised patio that's roped off. It didn't look like something they'd allow right now, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thank you for the update, that's good to know.
