I love Disney's photo package and get it every time. Is the UO package for three days worth it?

You’re gonna get a range of answers
Some love it while others say
Not worth it

I have had it twice
It was worth it for me when I did a one day period

It covered ride photos and a few places in the park with characters

You can add framing and items to be added to the photos at the shop in front of the park

It has to be done by the end of the day when doing one day photo purchase

Hi I have had it twice and glad I did. I don't think there are as many opportunities as Disney but still is good. What I like is they have started putting self service stations where you put the card in and the camera takes your pic. Volcano Bay has 3 area IOA had two and not sure of the studios. Each park has photographers at the front gate of the parks. The character greets have them as well. We liked the ride photos a lot.

Enjoy!

We love it! We have AP's and last year we paid $149 for the year. This year I just renewed and it was $99. There are many photo opportunities with the photographers- most characters have them. It's nice getting the ride pictures. Just getting a few family pictures is expensive which is why we originally bought the package. We ended up with a lot of pictures in the course of the past year!

I just seen one set of friends pictures over Christmas using the Photopass......they were over the moon with it......

Loads of photographers around the parks, they seem to have massively improved the amount of photographers around the parks.....we certainly noticed more last few trips than ever.

I have to say I was impressed with their pictures.......

We did it on our mother-daughter trip in 2015. It is not as good at the random candids as Disney, but if you want your ride photos and will stop for things like the Jurassic Park photo op, it's not bad per se. There aren't really many roving photographers like at Disney, but there's usually one at the entrance. I do like that you get at least some hard copies as well.

We did it for our last 1 week trip and were glad we did. It was fun getting all the ride pictures. I agree that there weren't as many picture stops as Disney but they had some fun green screen locations. We got fun pics at ET where the kids were driving the bike, or playing dress up w/ ET. We also got a lot of Simpson's pictures on the Simpson couch and stuff like that. It was fun and we have some good memories to look back on. I would pay for it again.

Tagging along on this thread, as I'm also debating getting the photo package for our trip. When we last went in 2014, I remember Rip Ride Rock-It had a video we could purchase at the end. Is that included with the photo package?

I don't think the video is included from what I have read. We will be there two days, so I would need the three day package. I'm debating buying on site and just paying $10 more-- that way I can see if I think it's worth it after the first day.

Is there somewhere that has a list of the rides included and where the photo stops are?

I would like to know this as well. We bought the photo pass at Disney in 2015 but didn't do it at Universal 2016. We are going with friends in 2018 so it could be fun to have for a 5 days in November.

Do you have to pre-purchase this or can you get photos taken and buy it later?

You need to buy it when the pictures are taken so they are saved and stored

They will code pictures for you to go over later at the end of the day

If the policy has changed from what I said, please correct me

I try not to answer and post on some questions until ive checked uo first

Today is my lazy day and did not check the site

Do you happen to know if there is a use by date for this package? We're not going until May and this looks like a good deal, but there is not a lot of information on the order page.

I thought I read somewhere that you don't get the rights to the pictures so you can't print them at like Walmart or Walgreens. Is this true?
