Is the new GFV offering the same as the old one?

Sorry, been out of the scene for a while. Just curious, Is the new Grand Floridian offering (the one people refer to as GF2) the same as the original Grand Floridian? Are the points the same? Will someone who had the original GFV points possibly be booked into a room in the new wing at the Grand Floridian?

It’s all one DVC resort. The points chart has a new room type called “Resort Studio”. These are the rooms in the new building which has all studios. If you want to be in one of these new resort studios you would book that new category.
