Is the new Christmas MagicBand out today at the parks?

I was told it was out today everywhere, but went to Downtown Disney and it wasn't at Pin Traders.

If you are in the Magic Kingdom today or any other park, can you please look for this band and post where you can buy it?

Just for an update to this, I am at MK now and three different places don't have the bands out yet. My guess is that they will be out tomorrow 11/1.

It links to your MDE account where all your data is stored. The MB is only a link/key to your MDE. All MBs linked to your account remain active and can provide access to your data.

Limited Release and Limited Edition MagicBands can only be purchased in the specific park and must be linked to a ticket, another MB, or a Memory Maker account at the time of purchase.

I wonder why Disney doesn't offer them as an alternative to just the plain colored ones. I can understand limiting their availability to only those needing a MB, but if we're customizing our MB anyway online, then why not offer the special ones and charge additional?

Hoping Stitch and Xmas ones are still available by the time we arrive for the holidays!

Ethan is showing the Christmas MB as Open Stock but only available in the parks. Maybe Disney wants to ensure that Limited Edition MB buyers actually purchase a ticket to enter a park. There is a large number of people who book rooms and then cancel after they have received their bands.

Ah...didn't consider that! Forgot MB can be used for room only.

Are all the MBs offered at each shop? I was considering visiting DTD on a nonpark day at the beginning of our trip and getting Stitch and Xmas MBs there.

The Christmas one is supposed to be in DTD - probably the Pin Store. Stitch is Open Stock without a box so, you should be able to find it where the Christmas MB is for sale. Ethan has a website with photos of most of the MBs... ************************ Well, try magic band collectors dot com

I bought the Christmas one at Storybook Circus on Thursday. It was $19.95, and I did not have to link it at time of purchase. It's still unopened in the box.
