Is The Last Week-End In Feb busy?

My Dh and Ds are planning on taking a long weekend the last week-end in Feb. I was wondering on how busy the parks will be. They are traveling from Georgia and i wanted to see how the attentance will be to see if the drive will be worth it. We have AP so tickets aren't a problem. Thanks for your help.

I think it will a great time to go. The weather should be nice, and spring breaks start in march. You should join your DH and DS, I am sure they would love to have you there with them. Make sure you make reservations for the ice cream social, great fun will be had by all.

The only extras that will be there are the cheerleaders, they arrive on 2/27 and leave on 3/1. We'll be there too so I'm hoping for low crowds!!

I've heard it's usually not very crowded, as Presidents week is over and many schools have their Feb vacation the week before. I know NH has theirs that week; and I'm sure a few other states do, but overall, it's not terribly busy.

Most of the guidebooks describe it as moderate attendance.

The cheerleaders will be there I think; but they are often in special competitions and don't add tremedously to park attendance ( I went once during my brothers school band competition and the parks were not made very busy by them)

All-Star/Studio Dance - February 26-27, 2004
School Cheer & Youth Recreation Cheer - Saturday, February 28, 2004
All-Star Cheer - Sunday, February 29, 2004

This is all held at WOS.

My Step-daughters are All-stars so their schedule is:
2/27 - arrive and hit parks
2/28 - practice and maybe parks
2/29 - competition all day
3/1 - go home (we stay until 3/6)

We'll be there that weekend too for Nevin's birthday bash!!

My Mom, Grandmother, Aunt, 2 sisters, 2 nieces, hubby, 2 ds's and I will all be there!!
