We took our first trip for our honeymoon in August 99 and we were pleasantly surprised that it was nowhere near as bad as everyone said it would be. Not because it wasn't hot, or humid, but because Disney is set up so well that you rarely spend too much time in the blazing sun. Most of the lines are sheltered and in many cases there is even air conditioning blasting out onto outdoor lines and seating areas. I worried about sunburn and didn't have any problems there, either. I agree that AK is the worst for the heat, so I'd wear your coolest clothing, a hat and sunglasses those days. Also someone advised me not to wear denim shorts b/c they are too hot -- try to stick to lighter weight fabrics. Drink lots of water, get an early start in the morning, take a swim or a nap in the afternoons and take advantage of the evening hours -- to me there is nothing better than strolling around at night on a warm summer evening. We are going again this August. Have fun!
