Is the Garden Grille dinner now a buffet?

I hope someone can help me.

I'm trying to make my ADRs for our May trip.
I was checking the menus & the DIS says that the Garden Grille is a dinner buffet. If this is true, it must be new.

Has anyone been there recently? If it really is a buffet, how was it?
Did you see prime rib on the buffet? Thanks!

This site says it's all you can eat family style. No Prime rib that I can see.

Maybe someone can give us the scoop.

I could be wrong, but last time we went the server brought the food to your table and you helped yourself. If you wanted more food, they brought you more.

We were there last month, and food was brought to the table (family style) -- it is not a buffet.

I'm glad it's back to family style - we went last year when you had to pick the entree off the menu, and it was disappointing.

Thanks everyone...it looks like it is not a buffet..I was hoping for one.

On the DIS...when you look at the Restaurant menus, the Garden Grill is listed twice. Once as "Chip & Dale's Harvest Feast at the Garden Grill" & then again just as "Garden Grill". The Garden Grille says it has a character dinner buffet & there is a notation that it was update Jan. 2, 2006.

It's not a buffet but it is all you can eat. Our last trip we ate there late and when we mentioned to our waiter we were going back to our room at OKW he brought us seconds and a to go box. Now how is that for service?..smjj

As far as I know it has never been a buffet and certainly not in the last 5 years. When people make lists of character meals they sometimes fail to distinguish between family-style all-you-care-to-eat (such as Garden Grill) and true buffets (such as Chef Mickey's).
