Is the fountain at Epcot gone?

I was looking at the maps to the side of the boards and it had a map for Epcot updated March of 2020. It looks on the map like innovations east and west are completely gone and the fountain is gone? Have I lost my mind or is this accurate?

(Mind-losing is a thing I do nowadays)

As of the park closures in March (construction work stopped at the same time, so there's not likely any meaningful progress since):
  • Everything in the Innoventions courtyard past the Spaceship Earth exit is walled off. To get to World Showcase from the front of the park, you have to take one of two new paths around the outside of the Innoventions area (there's one that goes from the front of the park over to where the Guardians construction and Mission Space are, and another that goes from the front to The Seas).
  • The Innoventions fountain is gone.
  • Innoventions West is partially demolished: the southwest section (containing Club Cool and the Fountain View Starbucks) is completely gone. The northwest section is closed and up next for demolition, but is currently still standing.
  • Innoventions East is not going anywhere, but everything accessible from the courtyard side is closed: this includes MouseGear and Electric Umbrella. Both are undergoing refurbishments; there is a temporary MouseGear location in the northern section of Innoventions East (accessible from the side of the building by Mission Space).

Yes it was removed a few months back as part of the spine renovations.

Wow. Just wow! I was at Epcot on March 13th in the afternoon and we just had time to walk quickly from the Boardwalk around the countries (sorry Canada, had to skip you) and out the front. We were funneled into a tiny walkway after test track area but I had no idea all that had happened. Wow. I had been there in August also and got to enjoy Club Cool one last time but I didn't know the fountain was getting ripped out. That makes me sad. It was iconic. So many great pictures taken there.
