Is the FOL pass the same as the Express Pass??

There actually is no such thing as a FOTL pass. It is an old name that people can't seem to let go. Express pass is the pass given out at the onsite hotels and is unlimited. Express Plus Pass is the purchased pass that allows one ride per ride.

Well it sounds like it is BEST to stay at the Universal resort then. I mean we are a family of 5 so adding on that EXPRESS PLUS PASS for everyone....will add up. Okay thanks.

Yes. Originally that's what the hotel pass was called but it caused some confusion and still does.

Yes but the wait time would be much less than the standby lines...just like FP.

It is basically the same thing but you have to pay for the Express Pass if you are not a Universal hotel guest where is a free privilege and all you have to do is show your room key card. No time limit whatsoever like in Disney

When we go every July for a week we have never waited more than 15 minutes for a ride. The average is 5-10 and some walk on.

i was reading other disney sites and found that The Mouse For Less board is one that uses that phrase, FOTL.

in one of their sections for "other parks", it lists peeps that stay onsite at the darkside get FOTL.

i think until all travel agencies and boards change the wording, this question will continue as new homies come to the darkside of the board.
