Is the Disney site always this bad?

I am new to all of this, and having a horrible time getting the Disney world site to work. Is this usually an issue, or did I just get unlucky with timing? I am trying to keep an eye out for a couple of spots to open up, but I can't even get the find reservations thing to work. It just shows:

"We were unable to check for available tables at this time.A problem occurred while looking for availability. Please try again later."


I am getting really frustrated!

The issue seems to be persistent. I've not had this problem before and hopefully they will rectify it soon.
