is the dining plan the same for 2008 ?

I read this, but it was from 2007 on the dining plan.

Each Table Service Credit includes one of the following:
Breakfast: Juice, Entrée, Non-alcoholic beverage
Lunch: Appetizer, Entrée, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage
Dinner: Appetizer, Entrée, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage


Does this mean I can acually have a drink with my meal? say a milk shake ( my daughter loves those) and how about with lunch?
wow and we can get an apitizer with out meals?? this is awsome!!!

I also wanted to know if when we eat at a buffet we can bring some of the deserts back to our motel? or do they frown on taking a treat in a zip lock bag?

I am having a hard time deciding where to eat, it all looks sooooo good!

The dining plan changed between 2007 and 2008. In 2008, you have a choice between the basic and deluxe plans. The basic plan does not include table service appetizers for adults. The deluxe plan, which costs a good deal more, includes table service appetizers and gives you 3 meal credits per night of your stay that you can use for either table service or counter service. As for whether or not you can have a milkshake as your nonalcoholic beverage, that's up to the restaurant. Some of them might allow them only as dessert.

Most if not all restaurants allow getting your dessert to go. But a buffet is something else. I would personally not use a ziplock bag to carry out buffet food. A piece of fruit or something like that probably wouldn't be a problem.

Gratuities are not included in either plan for 2008.

Whispering canyon cafe, kona, and the pepper market all let us get milk shakes/smoothies for the drink (not counted as dessert)!
