We are going to WDW at the end of Aug. Looking for opinions on if the party is worth it during slower times? Is the food worth the money? It looks like it will be roughly $105 for 4 of us. DH, DS (14), DD (12) and me.

We are going the same time of year as you and we were going to try it for the first time this year but didn't end up booking it. We really want to see the MSEP and it doesnt seem doable to catch the parade and then make it back to enjoy they deserts before the fireworks so we decided to pass since we will only do one late night at MK.

I hope so! We're trying for first time early August. However, I think it's all a matter of your personal preferences and what you find to be of value :thumbsup2

We're doing it on an EMH night & those tend to be more crowded IMO so the idea of having a nice table to relax with my desserts and then leisurely walk up to a railing to view fireworks where I won't be pushed, elbowed or having someone I don't know standing too close for comfort appeals to me ;)

From a purely financial perspective, my aunt's DiL bought 3 chocolate covered strawberries from the Main St. bakery their last trip & it cost approx $14. I've seen photos of the dessert party and there are GOBS of those beautiful delicious looking strawberries on the dessert table AMONG many other yummy choices including beverages :woohoo:

I think it's like many other choices at WDW, it's worth a try at least once to see if you like it :goodvibes
