Cruising is the greatest vacation you can ever take. The DCL is one of the best out there. The best place for you to go would be to visit the DCL forums on this site or some more cruise specific sites. It's hard to get an unbiased opinion on the Teen Board, when a lot of members haven't been on a cruise.
I'm going to next year around June/July for a Graduation present.![]()
Yea, just like everyone says they are basically the coolest thing and they are never the same. I would also recommend going to the Stack/A Loft the first night for the 411 meeting, this will give you the basic rules for the hang out. You also get to meet many new people and like the OP said, it tends to get really clichy fast!
yay! nothern europe 2010 and Russia!
or ocean quest if your my age![]()

I'm probably going to be the odd one out here-but that's ok!
I thought the cruise was OK, but I personally would rather just go to Disney World instead. I've never been one to be part of a 'clique'. I've always been the outsider that just kind of hung out with who-ever and did my own thing. I've always had such a huge range of people I'd talk to, from those guys that were UBER!popular and had a bunch of girls hanging on them all the time (which honestly has always irked me...and they know that too...but that's ok! ^__^ ) to people that were members of the "HAND RADIO CLUB!"(I actually had someone try to get me to join once. But, I honestly am not into that kind of thing...AT ALL. DD: It wasn't cool. Not cool at all. ;>__<).
But really, I just felt very much like...I didn't belong there (in the Stack). Does that make sense? I'm not one to be part of a clique and am really quite shy. So when cliques start to form so fast like that (and they did there)...and I have such a limited time to get to know these people and break out of my shell...I just kind of go off on my own.
But other than that! THERE IS TONNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSS! of food. OMG, it's amazing! Everything's FREE! (or at least they kind of are. You pay for the food when you pay for the cruise) My sister and I went down to this ice cream machine when we were there, and got yelled at by one of the workers because he was all "YOU'RE TAKING ALL MY ICE CREAM!!!!!" because we were making UBER!high stacked ice cream cones. Then we were all "But...it's free, right?!" and he was all D:< "HMPH." *stalks away muttering about how stupid kids are*
I was kind of...scared at the time...but now that I look back at it, it's hilarious. xD
Oh! And Animator's Palate is so cool! Or at least I thought it was. But I'm also easily amused.
Oh! And we also had the chance to see Cars before it even opened in theaters. They showed it on the boat the day before they let it out to everyone else.
The state rooms are also really tiny (or at least they felt that way to me-but I also have a tendency to get claustrophobic). We got 2 for our family of four-my mom and dad in one with a veranda and my sister and I in one right across from them. Ours had no windows, so when we woke up every morning it still felt like it was the middle of the night because of how dark it was in our room. I kind of liked that we had our own space tho. THAT was awesome.![]()
And I'd also be careful in Cozumel if you go on the cruise that goes there. I know it's probably part of their culture and no big deal there, but the people at the stores are SUPER pushy. One of the people that were standing in front seriously put their arms around my mom and were trying to 'guide' her into their store as we were walking by. Completely freaked me out. But I was also probably just being paranoid, so...yeah. I'll stop now.
*ends the horribly long post* ;>__<
You mean the Oceaner [sp?] Lab..

Nope. Ocean Quest, only on the Magic though. 2nd floor. Its for 12-14's and they have open house aswell.
And they have lots of Xboxs, Wiis, PS3s, DSs
My friend and I got milkshake cups, filled the icecream up to the top in a spiral then filled the rest of the cup with chocolate syrup
Tastes good, but after 5 in a day.. well... yeah. =='
And I saw Camp Rock, Wall-E and PotC 3 before they came out
diff cruises.
I wouldn't recommend going on a different cruise line, because Disney has some of the largest rooms at sea, haha.
See, I didn't think the staterooms were that small. We had the split bath, queen bed, and pullout couch with the bunk bed from the cieling and a veranda. I thought it was fun.
Watch out for the locals when you dock, though. We docked in Nassau, and only lasted 30 minutes out there. It was like 102 (I thought it felt good though and I was fine) and the locals were begging to braid my hair! They would strap you down onto this bench and then have 20 ladies braiding your hair at the same time.
Imagine me at the time, an 8 year old white girl with shoulder length hair getting braids all over.Yeah, no thanks.
The locals are VERY VERY VERY pushy.
