Is the Costco special the best deal for a 2-day trip?

I'm planning on going in early May, and I really just need two days (so the added three days doesnt really do anything for me). I just saw this deal at Costco for a 3-month pass for $84.99 (plus like $5 since I'm not a Costco member, and of course shipping).

Now are there any deals better than this, or any problems/reasons why this isnt the best deal. Like I said, I really just need tix for two days, don't even need park hopper.

Thanks!

from what i have read, this deal is probably the best one out there that will suit your purposes. (if you wanted 7 days, then rci community would top this deal)

hope you have a grand time at the parks.

I could be wrong here ( that does happen to me on occasion ;0) ) but by the time you add the $ for not being a costco member and the shipping wouldn't the $99 deal be cheeper if you picked up your tickets at the kosik? And then you wouldn't have to spend any of your two days getting the photo ID passes made up either. Just get your tickets and go. That is assuming the three mo. passes require photo ids like the APs do.

The 3 month passes require biometrics, which ppl on here said means finger scan. Yes, you would have to add on the 5% and the shipping (about 10 or 11 dollars for me). So depending on how many tickets you were ordering on whether it would be less for those. You can't pick those up at the kiosk, but shipping is less from costco than from the universal site if you were going to have them shipped. I think it would only be a couple of dollars either way. I ordered them because I will be there more than 5 days and wanted a better option.

I went to the Costco site as I am a member. I did not see anything about this. I was going to see if it was available. I would have purchased for U and then forwarded if it would have saved U $$$. I mean its not like U would have needed my card except to purchase.

In order to find it I searched "theme park tickets"

*stupid question alert*

I am guessing this does not include the free kids passes? Just asking to be sure.

I'm going to order them myself. There are 4 adults in my family - kids are over age 9. Through Costco the costs is $367.98 which includes 11.02 shipping and handling and $17 non-member surcharge. Through the Universal web site 2 day/2 park 3 days free (all ages) cost is $440.80 which includes 26.00 tax and 15.00 shipping. I save approx. $73. The only downside that I can see is that you can't add on the Express Plus Pass but you can still purchase this from the Universal website. One question I do have is does the Costco ticket let you go to both parks the same day?

On the Costco website it says unlimited access to two parks. On the tickets it says 2 parks/3 months. To me unlimited access would mean I can spend the morning at IOA and the afternoon at USO. I hope I'm correct because I had DMIL buy this ticket. The rest of us have annual passes. Then again, maybe it would not be so bad if she couldnt follow us to the next park. :rotfl2:
