Is the Castle tour line open for WWoHP ?

I read that there are 2 lines for Hogwarts castle inside the Wizarding world of Harry Potter in Islands of Adventure.

The first is the rider line for lockers/Forbidden Journey line
The second is a combined single rider only line (no bags) or Castle tour line i.e for those who don't want to go on the Forbidden Journey ride.

From what I gather, sometimes this second tour only line is not open during busy times. We're heading to IoA later this week. Does anyone know if currently this castle tour only line is open ?

Also can a family with no bags, go through and use the Single rider lines. Or are these really for single riders only ?

when you mean single rider do you mean just walking thru or riding? If riding, you can but it is LITERALLY single rider.You and your family will be split up, you wont be riding together.We did this last time .There are 3 of us and all 3 of us rode spearately.They fill in ALL seats on the ride

Splitting up is fine. I just want to avoid the locker wait in the main line

I know that the Single line is there, but what I don't know is if the castle only tour part is open. From what I read, if the park is busy, this tends to be closed. I'd be interested to know if it's open at this point in time

it depends on the day and the tms.It could be open one day and closed the next.we were there in Jan 2012 and it was SLOW and it was closed.We were there in August 2013 and it was closed one day and open the next..Simply depends

Single rider line is for anyone who is happy to ride as a single without their party members beside them. It doesn't mean that you had to come to the park as a single, but just that you are willing to ride as a single.
