Our almost three year old (will barely be three for our trip in June) will sit through most Disney movies (although he sometimes plays or leaves the room for a little bit). Is the Aladdin show too long for a three year old? Just wondering if I should plan to see it.

My girls both loved it even at 2!! Now it depends on the child as I don't think DS will be ready to sit through it quite as early as they were!! But they LOVED it and it's definitley worth the try!! Just have him watch the movie a lot before you go and get him completely familiar with the storyline if he's not already!! That will help and he'll think it's cool that he knows who the characters are and what's gonna happen!!

I would think so. Every time we've gone there are always really really young ones that are totally engrossed in the show, it's very entertaining and almost interactive. A parade goes through the auditorium which will keep your 3 year olds interest, plus if you sit in the mezzanine seating the flying carpet will mesmorize. I think it's worth a shot anyway. Like matterhorn said, if you watch the movie a few times before you go, your little one will recognize all the songs as well and I think it'll be fun.

I'll try that soon. Right now he's on a total Peter Pan kick. Last year at WDW he was asleep when we did the Peter Pan ride, but this year he should love it!

It's an amazing show with lots of action and moves at a fast-pace. It's probably about a half-hour (maybe longer), so if your son is able to sit through a Disney movie, he should be fine for the show.

I took my two DS (3 1/2 and 1 1/2) last year. The 3 1/2 did fine until the end when he started to get ancy because he needed to go to the bathroom. So, my #1 tip is to make sure you go to the bathroom BEFORE you get in line, and don't drink much in line, because they don't have restrooms in there! The 1 1/2 year old got restless about half way through, but we were able to keep him quietly entertained with his stuffed animals without too much trouble.

My three year old little DD loved it. She was in awe with all the motion around the auditorium and on stage. I would say go for it. Have fun, it is really a great show.

We brought our daughter when she was 3 and she loved every minute of it. Jasmine started battling it out with Ariel as my daughter's favorite princess. She's 6 now and still switches between the 2 of them as her favorite princess.

My daughter liked it at 2 1/2 and was fine even at 1 1/2.

My kids were completely different. DD loved it but ds at 3 was soooo bored. We really enjoy it so we kept pointing out things making it more exciting for him. It never worked. We havent been back in awhile because of that. Having said that I really loved it and so did my daughter.

The first time we saw it DD was barely 2 and DS was barely 6. They both loved it. They still love it (almost 5 and 9). The princess and pagentry does it for DD while DS falls off his seat with Genie humor.:rotfl: DD still gets bored in a movie theater. On the other hand, live theater has always kept her attention - DS too.

My daughter at 3.5 liked it, but does sit though movies, etc. It was pushing her limits though, but every child is different.

There are a couple of intense scenes if your little ones are sensitive. The cave of wonders is BIG, with glowing red eyes. It sort of rumbles and growls loudly when the thief tries to enter. That's in the beginning of the show. At the end, Jafar turns into a snake and rises ominously just in front of the stage. The snake is BIG, loud, and smokes. Neither scene bothered my kids and I would consider them sensitive (DD now refuses to ride POTC because of the dark drops and skeletons). Just thought you should be aware if taking little kids. I always hear a cry or two when the cave growls :scared1:

Just got home from DL and at the show today there must have been at least three families that either all had to leave or one parent had to leave because their child was really frightened by the show. The child in front of us must have been 3 or 4 and he was so frightened he was yelling that he wanted to go home.
Like DisQueen said, parts may be too intense for some.
